Yuraygir National Park is a stretch of protected coastline along the North Coast of New South Wales and features rocky headlands and cliffs, isolated beaches, crystal-clear creeks and wetlands. The park includes several centres with campgrounds facilities, as well as its central attraction—the four-day Yuraygir Coastal Walk, which follows the path of the coastel emu.
Solitary Islands Marine Park runs for 75 km (47 mi) along the coast north of Coffs Harbour and covers approximately 71,000 ha (175,000 acres), which are home to hundreds of species of fish and coral, as well as migrating humpback whales, making the park one of the best places in Australia for whale watching. The park is also home to the Yuraygir Coastal Walk, a four-day traverse along protected coastline that features heathland plains, rocky headlands, sand beaches and lagoons.
